Gluten & Sugar Free Chocolatey Treat


3/4 cup dates

3/4 cup almonds

3 big tbsp organic cold pressed coconut oil

3 big tbsp butter

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 tsp cinnamon powder


  1. Chop dates.
  2. Chop almonds and dry roast them lightly in a non-stick fry pan until slightly brown.
  3. Combine roasted almonds and chopped dates with all the other ingredients. If the butter is too stiff, you can microwave it for 20 seconds.
  4. Put mixture in a smallish baking dish which is lined with baking paper.
  5. Place in fridge for a few hours to set.
